Abstract
Description
Excerpt from introduction: "Expressing the influence of Escher onmy own work is akin to testing a newmedical discovery without a control group. I have been exposed to his work for as long as I can remember, and certainly for as long as I’ve had an active interest in art, making it difficult for me to imagine a world without his work. That is not to say that he has had no impact; some directions I have been exploring were clearly visited by him first; other influences are more subtle."
