dc.description.abstract | The Community-Government Collaboration on Policy was supported through the Social Development Partnerships Program of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). We operated as a community of practice from March 2008 to March 2009. Our purpose was twofold: to develop an effective policy monitoring process that could be undertaken regularly by communities, and to create an information-rich guide to successful collaboration on policy. Because our collective experience was most closely associated with the issue of poverty reduction, it is the lens through which we viewed collaboration on policy. The lessons we present, however, are equally applicable to any complex or â wickedâ problem. | en |
