Abstract
Description
This research project mines the Theses Canada Portal of Library and Archives Canada to offer some basic descriptions of Masters and Doctoral theses written in Canada between 1970-2012. The study results give a profile of where students who write theses about co-ops study, what the theses focus on in terms of, for example, geographic area, industry and type of co-op. Findings indicate that a large number of theses are produced at the University of Sherbrooke and in Quebec overall; that there is a strong international focus; and the case study approach is often used as the methodology of choice.
